The North Carolina Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity arrived at Davidson in April 1930. The brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon support the Ada Jenkins Center in their annual Turkey Trot 5K race and the Davidson Charity Gala.
The NC Epsilon chapter was recently awarded their third Buchanan Outstanding Chapter Award, the Recruitment Excellence Award, and their second Academic Excellence Award. They pride themselves on recruiting men from diverse backgrounds and with diverse interests across campus.
Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity was originally founded at the University of Richmond in 1901. Their colors are purple and red, and they are represented by the sword and the heart. Sigma Phi Epsilon nationally supports the YouthAIDS organization, the American Cancer Society, and the American Red Cross.
